One of our favourite guitar funk bands from New Orleans – The Meters are legendary for their great soulful instrumental songs. This is from 1969 and is one of their most famous tracks that has been covered by many well known guitarists over the World. Its very interesting as it sets itself up in a C minor pentatonic type lick and suddenly goes into a major. Plus there’s some funky chords to play.
