Its been 6 Months since the amazing guitar player Prince passed away at his home in Paisley Park. I was deeply honored to have breifly jammed with this great player in London a few Years back and to use his cloud guitar. Here we pay homage to Prince by tabbing out his jazzy laided back ballad called ‘Sometimes It Snows In April’. Its a master class using your thumb to make simple chords sound great. A beautiful slow ballad from Prince showing he could not just write full on blues and rock songs. This song was played on an acoustic guitar and uses lots of diminished chords. Once you have got used to playing with your thumb over the top for some of these chords its relatively easy to slide the same chord around.
