Play An Yngwie Arpeggio In A Minor On Guitar
Second exercise of playing like Yngwie Malmsteen. Last month we looked at an A minor arpeggio that Yngwie uses regularly. Here is a longer version played over 3 strings. Yngwie describes this scale as the same pattern but in different modes. As you will see the pattern starts to repeat itself at the 17th fret, so in essence there are only 3 shapes to learn. Start slowly and build the speed up using sweep picking across the 3 strings.
