Pentatonic with a high pivot note on your guitar

Philip Sayce, Joe Bonnamassa and Stevie Ray Vaughan use this trick to make their guitars sound more like a Hammond organ than a guitar. We are doing this exercise using an E minor pentatonic, but this can be transposed to any key. Start off by playing the E minor pentatonic, however use just your thumb to pick it.
