Peggy Sue - Buddy Holly Tabbed For Guitar

Buddy Holly’s most well known hit from 1957 – Peggy Sue. Its difficult to tell exactly the strumming pattern that Buddy used as there are 2 guitars and the recording were of poor quality compared to today’s standards. Buddy keeps his right hand moving up and down continuously on the live performance using just down strokes to play but we found that Down, Down Up, Down, Up seemed to work well (feel free to try others). All simple chords using just an A, D, E and an F chord just the once. Verse one is pretty much the generic pattern for the rest of the song
