How to use basic triads on guitar in your songs.

Triads are 3 chord notes, often containing the root, 3rd or 5th of a scale. They are popular in funk and rock. You may find some of the following exercises best plays with your fingers rather than a pick.Firstly play an F major scale on the D string Do you remember doing our ‘Writing A Song Using Chord Progression’ exercisers which showed you a table with all the chords you could use in a set key? Well if you remember the sequences for a major progression went; Major, Minor, Minor, Major, Major, Minor, Diminished. If we add two more notes to the scale above we can form triads – 3 note chords.
