Great Marc Bolan classic from the 1970’s. Just 5 chords and one of them you don’t need to use any fingers for it. You’ll need to have heard this song first to know the rhythm of the first section. Featuring the classic T.Rex line-up of Marc Bolan, Mickey Finn, Steve Currie and Bill Legend, Buick MacKane was a favourite track from The Slider album (released 21 July 1972), while the anthemic Children of the Revolution was the third single on Bolan’s T.Rex label, released 8 September 1972 and reaching number two in the top 40. It is one of Bolan’s most enduring songs and the title phrase is frequently referenced in the English language.
