Paul Di’Anno – Iron Maiden Singer Dies
Paul Di’Anno the original Iron Maiden singer has past away at the age of 66. Paul Andrews (otherwise known as Paul Di’Anno) had been ill for some time, having to use a wheelchair in the last few weeks as mobility wasn’t great. It was mentioned to us that he had sepsis recently so that may be the reason he died at just 66 years of age.
Paul Di’Anno was on the original Iron Maid album featuring classics like Phantom of the Opera, Charlotte the Harrlett and the track Iron Maiden to name but a few.
We recently interviewed the guitarist from that era – Dennis Stratton who was a friend and band mate of Paul’s. Please click HERE to listen to listen to this interview and to find out more about their relationship and music.
