Musicians Union Teachers Committee Meeting

The Musicians Union Teachers Committee was set up to listen to the views and opinions of music teachers and to give them a fair representation in what is happening in teaching across the UK. The MU education section help support music teachers in many ways by doing things like lobbying the Government and making sure musicians voices are heard when decisions are made that affect musicians that teach.

Today we have had the privilege to be involved in the Musicians Union’s Teacher Committee where none other than Naomi Pohl, the newly elected General Secretary of the MU was talking. Among many things she told us about her thoughts on how she and the MU will be supporting Musicians that teach through the Musicians Union.
