Guitar Tutor Neil Anderson Joins My Guitar Lessons
My Guitar Lessons are pleased to announce that guitar tutor Neil Anderson has joined us.
Neil is based in Southampton, Hampshire and has been teaching guitar for over five years, and playing for over 30. He started a band at school playing covers, and have been in and out of groups ever since covering genres from hard rock, funk, pop, experimental and punk.
Neil has a wide range of influences, including the rock and punk guitarists of the 70s, the soul and funk players of the 60s and 70s, and 90’s indie rock. More recently rediscovering acoustic playing through the new wave of players, like Ben Howard, Frank Turner, Ed Sheeran and Newton Faulkner. This helps to provide a great understanding of many genres of music and an appreciation of all good music. He specialises in rock, pop and funk but is happy to help you learn and play any music styles welcome from rockers or potential pop stars, to just playing for fun and enjoyment. Any age or ability is welcome, whether you’ve just got your first guitar, are improving your technique, or are an older player re-discovering your axe-dreams.
