BEWARE POSSIBLE TELEPHONE FRAUD ATTEMPT

Somebody purporting to be a BT employee has contacted at least one guitar tutor offering advertising on BT’s website, requesting to set up an account and take payment over the phone. BT have stated that they have no employee of the name the caller used and that any payment would not be requested in this way. The police have been informed of this. Therefore we suggest you be wary if any similar type of calls are made to you. (It is recommended never to give out your bank account or credit card details to cold callers.)
