Our tutors students invited on to talent contest.

We have received the latest application form for youngsters to take part in the next “Music 4 the Fun of It” Concert at St. Vincent’s Parish Centre, Mallard Close, Dartford, DA1 5HU, on Sunday 23rd March 2014, in the hopes that our tutors will have some pupils who may be interested.

There is no fee for performers 18yrs. or under, to take part. Performers must be accompanied by an adult. Each performer will have their name and the title of their music printed in the Programme. A copy can be bought, at the door, on the day.

The concerts are organised primarily to give young performers the opportunity to play in public, in a relaxed atmosphere. They have been taking place two or three times a year since 2002. We are very grateful for the support of successive Mayors, Deputy Mayors and Councillors from Dartford, who have attended and enjoyed every concert.

Over the years, the raffles and retiring collections have raised several thousands of pounds, for the charities supported by the concerts.
