The BBC has unveiled some initial music education proposals following the proposed cuts of its organisations, such as BBC Singers entirely and 25% of BBC orchestras, but the plans are currently somewhat vague. They are being encouraged to do a detailed audit of their existing work in this area in the hope that they won’t cancel any work and amplify it instead.
