Guitar Composition Competition 2024 Now On The Internet

€1800 to be won for the best guitarist in 3 catagorys, so get your guitar piece in via the internet as soon as possible. The deadline has been extended so you have another 10 days to do so. This competition is for all ages and you can compete from any country. Entering this competition is very simple, all you have to do is to record your own guitar solo composition and send the audio file to the following email address:

You don’t need to submit the score, just the audio file. In this competition you are both a competitor and judge, choosing the winner by voting at home for the best work. All the voting results are sent to you via email so that you can check both, the votes given and received by everyone. During the voting process the contestants also receive comments on their works. The final round is voted by the contestants and a jury of winners of previous years.

Very important: The composition submitted cannot last more than five minutes. Only the entrants vote to choose the winners.

Prizes: 1.800 euros and more divided into three categories

Entry fee: 20 euros per one composition submitted. (maximum allowed per category: 5 compositions) 15 euros each submission for two or more compositions

You can participate with your name or pseudonym. You must be the author of the composition submitted.

The competition is divided into three styles or categories so that you compete against works of similar style:

Category 1:

Classical Guitar (free style with classical guitar, no accompaniment allowed)

Category 2 :

Acoustic guitar ( Jazz style or Folk style with acoustic guitar, electro-acoustic guitar or classical guitar. no accompaniment allowed)

Category 3:

Flamenco (flamenco style with flamenco guitar, percussion accompaniment is allowed)

No matter how far you are. This Competition is via the Internet. Guitarists from more than 20 countries join this competition every year.

ENTRIES DEADLINE BEFORE STARTING TO VOTE: APRIL the 26th, 2024

At the moment there is participation from:

France, Germany, USA, Canada, Ireland, Spain, China, Brazil, Argentina and England.
