Jeff Beck Trick For You To Use

I pinched this off of Jeff Beck! Take a normal minor pentatonic scale and simply raise the 3rd to a major (so move it up a semitone). So for a standard A minor pentatonic play the 5th fret of the E and then the 9th fret (apposed to the 8th in a standard minor pentatonic – a C# instead of a C). Keep doing this all the way through the scale.
