Nick Beggs from Kajagoogoo one of our all time favourite bass players surprised us all by making a guest appearance at a local festival last week. Nick was playing with keyboard maestro Howard Jones at the Lets Rock festival in Norwich and initially we didn’t even recognise him. He was sporting long blonde in a rock star style and a stick type guitar. It wasn’t until he picked up a four string bass guitar and launched into ‘Too Shy’ that we suddenly realised we had one of the all time best bassists in front of us.
