New Leader At The MU As Horace Trubridge Steps Down.

Our best wishes goes out to Horace Trubridge, who has been the Musicians Union General Secretary for the past 4 years. He has governed the union through some of the hardest times for musicians including Brexit and the Covid pandemic.

We hear Naomi Pohl, deputy general secretary of the Musicians’ Union (MU), has announced her intention to run for MU general secretary when the election process starts later this year. If elected, she would be the first woman to hold the post in the union’s 128-year history. Good luck to all candidates.
