Slides Within Scales On Guitar To Link Up Different Sounds

Here is a way to increase your speed and dexterity when playing scales. If you use sliding notes this helps to get you to the next pattern up or down in the scale and assists by adding extra notes to each string, making things sound slicker and faster. Once you can go up on this scale try coming back down, again using slide notes. Now here is a lick using slides and a hammer on, we try a natural minor scale sliding firstly on the index then with the pinkie. To make this more interesting we have mixed up the middle section to add some flavour. Please feel free to experiment by using different fingers in the scales.Try other scales and modes to add slides within the scale.
