Here at my guitar lessons we now have our own signed copy of Shades Of Gray the first solo album from the amazing Myke Gray who has had success with Jagged Edge, Skin and more recently Red White and Blues. the album is mostly instrumental and packed with some amazing riffs and melodies if you love guitar albums then put Shades Of Gray on your priority list to purchase. you will not be disappointed. Each signed copy came with a lovely note from the man himself it was a really nice touch for any music fan.
For an entire Sunday Myke was spending a lot of time bagging up the CDs preparing them for the post. It was a very nerve wracking time for him as 1 year of his life was about to be exposed to the world for judgement and this is what he said. I just want to say a big thank you for all the kind words that have been posted and all the personal messages that I have received over the last 7 days. I made the album not sure if anyone would be interested -so to have sold nearly 3 quarters of the 1000 after the first week of release is much more than I could ever of wished for. This album was for the people that have stuck by me for many years and i hope I haven’t disappointed or let anyone down.
When I first started playing music I never thought I would ever release an album under my own name and still slightly embarrassed to do so! Thank you to everyone who has been part of this especially the people who have financially supported it. Love and peace.
