Dan Baird Cancels His Bands Tours

The legendary Dan Baird, former Georgia Satellites frontman  has had to cancel tour dates with his current bands Dan Baird & Homemad Sin and the Yayhoos until further notice. Like all of us at some stage in our life illness takes charge in Dan Baird’s case it’s CLL, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, so let’s wish him a speedy recovery.

Dan Baird said the illness as an “older folks’ blood condition that wants to eat you up.  it’s also reported that the signs of recovery are encouraging and he is already feeling much better. Dan Baird will be taking a leave for the rest of the year so lets keep our fingers crossed and look forward to seeing our man rocking with his amazing bands once again.
