Overdrive and Reveal Boost pedals

Accessories manufacturer Grindstone Audio Solutions has introduced its first guitar effects pedals. The two new pedals feature Grindstone’s TeaserMode switching, which lets the user operate both latching and momentary, depending on how long the switch is pressed. A quick press-and-release will make the switch perform like a latching on-off switch. A longer press and hold will disengage the effect when the switch is released.

The Nightshade is described as “a thick and creamy overdrive” offering versatile overdrive and impressive range. It has an analog signal path and three knobs: Volume, Tone and Gain. From clean to searing overdrive, the Gain control provides an immense range of options, while Tone can dial in just the right amount of punch to cut through a mix. Grindstone describes the Reveal Boost pedal as “a lead boost or an always-on tone sweetener”. It has a fully analog signal path, up to 28dB of clean boost and comes in a robust custom enclosure.
