Paul Brett’s Vintage ‘Viator’ 12 String

Based on his incredibly popular and well received 6 string Viator, Vintage are pleased to introduce the Vintage ‘Viator’ Paul Brett 12-String Electro-Acoustic Travel Guitar (VTR800PB-12. With a solid sitka spruce top and with sapele back and sides, the Viator 12 has a nato customised ‘v’ shape neck with rosewood fingerboard.

The rosewood bridge features a Graphtech Nu-Bone nut for superb tonal transfer and sustain, which is perfectly reproduced by the Fishman Sonitone pickup system – whose preamp system is unobtrusively mounted inside the soundhole. Furthermore, you can use the handy USB output to record on-the-go to your tablet or laptop.

“Of all the guitars to date that I have released in conjunction with Vintage this is my favourite” says Paul Brett. “Why? Because it offers me a different option in both sound and tonal genres which to me makes it a unique piece of kit to add to any players armoury. It will take many tunings depending upon the gauge of strings used and I am constantly discovering new areas of composition that have remained hidden in other formats. It works brilliantly in both acoustic and electro-acoustic modes, and the addition of a USB output adds even more options. Try one out for yourself and as usual, Vintage have produced a beautiful instrument that I am very proud to add my name to.”

Suitable for both beginners and professionals who want to have a great sounding and affordable guitar that they can fit into small spaces for travelling convenience, the Viator 12 comes complete with a padded carry bag with shoulder straps for easy transportation.

You can hear the Vintage Viator 12 played by Paul himself in this video.
