Zoom KHDK pedals

The KHDK brand of pedals have been created by Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, along with long term friend and industry veteran David Karon. The range includes Hammett’s signature multi-purpose overdrive – the Ghoul Screamer, along with the No1 Overdrive pedal – a dynamic tube like amp for your pedal-board.

The range also includes the No2 Clean Boost pedal, which utilises the strength of KHDK’s unique circuit, providing a warm, tube-like boost, as well as the brand-new Scuzz Box – a Germanium voiced Fuzz that features a switchable voicing between Fuzz, a highly dynamic articulate fuzz tone, and Scuzz, which brings a unique and biting sound.

“It is an unpredictable, ruckus velcro-type gated fuzz, with a nasty, gnarly and buzzy tone with ripping textures, the final sound being mercurial,” said the firm. Other guitarists using KHDK pedals include Gojira’s Joe Duplantier, Disturbed’s Dan Donegan, A Perfect Circle’s Matt McJunkins, Volbeat’s Rob Caggiano and more.
