New Lace SC7 and SC8 passive single coil pickups

Lace Music has launched new pickups within its Alumitone range. The new SC7 and SC8 single could pickups are designed specifically for 7 and 8 string extended-range guitars. The new Lace pickups are based on the ‘wide range acceptance’ of the company’s patented Alumitone Technology, designed specifically for extended range guitars, already extremely popular with guitar players using larger Lace X-Bar and Deathbar sized units.

Consequently, Lace received requests from all over the world to make a single coil version for both 7 and 8 string guitars. Like all models in the Alumitone series, the Exo-Skeleton aluminium frame is precision cut using a water jet process, and employs a current based design as opposed to conventional voltage operated pickups.

The result is a lightweight, high output (without batteries), noiseless pickup delivering serious tone.  The new Lace single coil SC7 and SC8 Alumitone pickups also look the part, finished in chrome or anodized black.
