Guns N’ Roses: Up to 30 arrested at New Jersey show

Up to 30 people were arrested at a Guns N’ Roses concert in New Jersey, according to local reports. Police told New Jersey 105.1 radio that at least 11 people were arrested for solicitation at the show at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Saturday. Other offences included disorderly conduct, harassment, criminal trespass and assaulting a police officer.

The band was playing two nights at the venue to crowds of about 55,000 as part of their Not In This Lifetime tour.

The tour has seen the classic line-up of singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bass player Duff McKagan play together for the first time in over two decades.

In New Jersey, the charge of solicitation covers requesting, encouraging or demanding someone to engage in criminal conduct, with the intent to facilitate or contribute to the commission of that crime.
