John Petrucci’s relationship with Ernie Ball Music Man dates back to 1999, when the famed guitarist and our design team collaborated on the very first John Petrucci signature model. The long-running line of guitars have been worldwide fan favorites and 2016 marks the latest in the series.

The basswood body comes with Black Lava coloring (opaque black with a deep brown sparkle), and is accented by a roasted maple neck, a “Smokey Ebony” fingerboard, and custom JP16 Mother of Pearl inlays.
