Campaign Launched To Get Eagles Of Death Metal To Number 1 Following Paris Terror Attacks
A campaign has been launched to get Eagles Of Death Metal’s cover of Duran Duran’s “Save a Prayer” to the top of the UK Singles Chart following the recent Paris terror attacks. At least 127 people are reported dead after a series of attacks in Paris on Friday Night (November 13th), Le Bataclan, the venue at which Eagles Of Death Metal were playing was among the worst hit. 87 civilians were killed.
A Facebook group has been launched to get the band’s cover to Number One in tribute to both the band and those who lost their lives. So far, 1,345 people have backed the campaign.

A number of bands have cancelled show in France and Europe following news of the attacks. It has also been announced that EODM merch manager was amongst those killed in the attack. A memorial fund has been launched in his name
