Video – Paul Gilberts New Ibanez PGM800 Guitar

Our favorite guitar teacher Paul Gilbert has been up to his amazing tricks yet again. Last year’s Mr. Big released ‘The Stories We Could Tell’, and the subsequent tour reminded us all that Paul Gilbert’s powers aren’t limited to shred mastery but that he’s equally capable of channeling that wild energy toward straight-ahead four-on-the-floor rock. It followed that Paul found himself turning to the Ibanez that served his Mr. Big purposes so well in the late 90s: his signature PGM800.

The latest signature model from Paul Gilbert – the PGM80P. This guitar is based on his 1996 PGM800 but with Paul’s updated preferences, including 22 frets, DiMarzio PAF Master humbuckers and a vintage Wilkinson tremolo bar.

Paul Gilbert IS Paul Gilbert… you didn’t think he’d leave those PGM800 specs as-is did you? Watch below for more;
