The IGF (International Guitar Federation) is running their annual guitar show in London this week. This weekend draws the festival to a close, but not without some amazing acts taking part. on Saturday, 25 July 2015 at 7:30pm, Chinese guitarist Xuefei Yang is to play. She is hailed as a musical pioneer on guitar. Born in Beijing in China and now based in England, she was the first-ever guitarist in China to enter a music school (Beijing’s Central Conservatory of Music), and the first Chinese guitarist to launch an international professional career.
Then at 8:00pm The Nigel Price Organ Trio take to the stage. The winners of the 2010 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for ‘best jazz ensemble’ – is led by one of Britain’s finest jazz guitarists. Together with one of the world’s finest drummers Matt Home and the incredible Ross Stanley on Hammond organ this is one of the most exciting jazz bands in the UK today.
