Happy Birthday Top Guitarist Steve Vai

One of our favourite guitar players Steve Vai turns 55. He has recorded and toured with Public Image Ltd. (John Lydon), Alcatrazz (following on from Yngwie Malmsteen), David Lee Roth (before the Jason Becker era) and Whitesnake with Adrian Vandanberg. He has been a regular touring member of the G3 Concert Tour with Joe Satriani, which began in 1995. In 1999, he started his own record label, Favored Nations, intending to showcase “artists that have attained the highest performance level on their chosen instruments”.
