Guitarist Eric Clapton Celebrates His 70th In Style

Amazing special guests and a surprising set list had the crowd on its feet at the first of two shows celebrating Eric Clapton’s 70th Birthday at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday, 1st May. Guitarist Clapton and his band then delivered a show just shy of two hours touching on all aspects of the guitar maestro’s incredible history from his days in Cream to the present day.

Andy Fairweather Low and The Low Riders opened, starting at 8PM. Both are back at the Garden Sunday night 3 May.
