Caroline Records of Universal Music Group is planning to offer one talented performer the recording contract of a lifetime. Focusrite has teamed up with Caroline Records of Universal Music Group to offer budding guitarists the chance to win a record deal as part of a new competition. To be in with a chance of winning, entrants need simply to record and upload a video of themselves singing and performing an original song on an instrument to YouTube and then submit it through Focusrite’s competition page.

The competition is now open for entries and will run until June 10th 2015. A panel of judges will then pick their ten favourite performances. These will be passed on to Universal, which will select the winning entry.
