Watch Guitarist Slash Playing Country Guitar – Amazing Video.

This Impromptu jam between guitarist Slash, movie star Jeff Bridges and TV show presenter Conan O’brein followed an interview with Bridges about a new CD he was launching. Both Bridges and O’Brien began playing ‘Somebody Else’ on acoustic guitars. The song was written by Bridges for his role in the 2009 movie and is the first thing viewers see his character Bad Blake sing. The performance was upped, however, when fellow guest Slash appeared on the stage and joined for a three-man jam session.

‘Sleeping Tapes’ sees Bridges team up with composer Keefus Ciancia, who has worked on TV series such as True Detective, and sound engineer Doug Sax.

One track on the album, ‘Goodmorning, Sweetheart’, features a recording of Bridges talking to his wife first thing in the morning, complete with the sounds of breakfast being prepared, over a faint ambient drone. Another song, ‘IKEA’, features Bridges talking about how he wants his body cremated and put in a satellite orbiting the planet when he dies. The album is available now at DreamingWithJeff.com as a free stream or pay-what-you-want download. All proceeds go to the No Kid Hungry charity.
