Paul MacCartney Hofner bass guitars models now shipping in the UK.

Remember Paul MacCartney from the Beatles using that infamous Hofner violin shaped guitar? Well their back with a twist. The GL-VB-ECO-IV-0 and GL-VB-ECO-BK-0 models are now shipping in the UK. Höfner has released two new German Eco Violin basses. Following extensive testing for a new fingerboard material to replace the traditional rosewood, the Limited Edition models of the famous Violin Bass use a composite material on the fingerboard, which produces optimised feel and tone.

The new models are available in two colour options, black and ivory, with the ivory model offered with a blue fingerboard.Despite being Limited Editions, they are being offered at the same price as the standard German built Violin Bass – €2430,00. Supplied with a Höfner bullet case, both models are available to order from Höfner dealers now.
