Guitarist Doug Aldrich Quits Whitesnake
Guitarist Doug Aldrich has quit long-running hard rock band Whitesnake to pursue a solo career.
Aldrich, who has been a member of Whitesnake for 11 years and who appeared on two albums, wants to break out on his own and focus on producing music as a solo artist.
Frontman David Coverdale tweeted the confirmation of Aldrich’s exit, posting: “It is with a heavy heart we bid adieu to super guitarist Doug Aldrich, who is leaving WS to pursue a solo career. Fare Thee Well, My Brother!”
