Led Zeppelin Confirm Remaster Releases

Led Zeppelin have confirmed the release of their long-awaited remaster series, with the band’s first three albums hitting the shelves on June 2.

Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III will each come with a companion disc of previously unreleased material.

Guitarist Jimmy Page, who masterminded the project, says: “The material on the companion discs presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin. It’s a selection of work in progress, with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions, and new material recorded at the time.”

The Super Deluxe Box Set will include the remastered CD in replica vinyl sleeve, the companion CD in a card wallet, 180gram vinyl in replica first-pressing sleeve, 180gram companion vinyl, download card, 72-page hardback book, replica press kit and quality print of the original album cover.

Other formats are digital download, deluxe double vinyl, single vinyl, deluxe 2CD and single CD.

The titles will appear via Atlantic/Swan Song.
