Woman Charged for Sending Death Threats to Chris Cornell

A Seattle woman has been charged after sending more than 100 death threats to Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell on Twitter.

Prosecutors claim that Elizabeth Walden used 9 different Twitter accounts to send messages that constituted cyber stalking. Some of the messages sent also alluded to the rape of the singer’s 13 year old daughter.

Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil recently announced that the band will be releasing an album of B-sides and rare material:

“I see that as another album, you know, as a stand-on-its-own album,” Thayil told the Pulse of Radio. “I don’t see it as a compilation, like a greatest hits or anything, because it’s an album where a lot of these songs that are previously uncompiled will be available.”
