Metallica, Motorhead, Anthrax and More Join Forces for Dio Tribute Album

Paying respect to late metal god Ronnie James Dio, some of his fellow guitar-driven greats and prominent metal artists have joined forces on a tribute album titled “This Is Your Life.”

Produced by Dio’s longtime manager and life companion Wendy Dio, the record features such class acts as Metallica, Motorhead, Rob Halford, Anthrax, Corey Taylor, Tenacious D, Scorpions and more.

Scheduled for an April 1 release via Rhino Records, the effort will also be made available digitally.

“We reached out to Wendy Dio about wanting to be a part of the Dio tribute that’s getting put together,” Metallica frontman James Hetfield told Metal Hammer magazine (via Blabbermouth). “We’re very honored to be a part of that, and to be a part of a celebration of Ronnie’s life and his great contribution, man.”

All funds from record sales will go to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. Check out the full track listing below.
