The Prodigy Join Metallica and Maiden For Sonisphere
Electro veterans the Prodigy have officially been announced as the third and final headliner of next year’s returning edition of Sonisphere festival.
Scheduled to hit the Knebworth stage on July 4, the Prodigy have joined metal greats Metallica and Iron Maiden at the top of the bill, appropriately marking the return of rock to legendary Knebworth Park.
“We can’t wait to play Sonisphere 2014,” said the band’s mastermind Liam Howlett. “We will be hitting you with some brand new beats and noise!”
Iron Maiden’s Sonisphere performance will mark the final gig of the band’s massive global tour, while Metallica will bring along their “By Request” show, giving ticket holders an opportunity to shape up the concert’s setlist through online voting.
Sonisphere 2014 is scheduled to take place from July 4 to 6 at Knebworth Park.
