Ozzy Wades into Wife’s Family Feud
Ozzy Osbourne took to his Facebook page on his 65th birthday to wade into a family feud between wife Sharon and her brother David Levy.
The siblings have been at odds for decades, with a truce of several years dissolving after they fell out over where their late father Don Arden was to be buried in 2007.
Earlier this week Levy, who suffers from MS, like the Osbourne’s son Jack, said he wanted their mutual illness to heal the family rift and also discussed his concern for Sharon’s interest in cosmetic surgery.
She lashed back, telling the Mirror: “I’m fuming. We call him Fredo after the weak son in The Godfather who sold the family out – that’s my brother. It seems all he wants is our money. I want absolutely nothing to do with him.
“I feel very bad for him that he has MS but I can’t help him with that. As far as him wanting to help Jack with his MS, I think it is an excuse.
“I think he looks at me and my family, all successful, and it eats away at him. My mobile number changes every three months but my office number has been the same for 32 years. He could have got hold of me at any time.”
Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy joined the attack, saying: “David Levy, brother-in-law in name only, leave my family alone. Stop selling false stories on my family. Get a job and be a man.
“Thank God you can choose your friends but you are stuck with your family – even though David Levy has never been and never will be family.
“When we took him off payroll all he’s done is tried to make money selling false stories. Stop saying you love me – you don’t know what the word is. I wish you no harm but you don’t know my family. Leave us alone.”
He later added: “You call me a saint for living with your sister. The word is called love and adore not saint, but whoops I forgot you don’t know what love is do you?”
