Manic Street Preachers to Preview Next Album on Tour
Manic Street Preachers have announced a UK tour for March and April next year, on which they’ll be previewing material from upcoming album Futurology.
In September they released Rewind The Film, an acoustic-based work, and the follow-up is designed as a companion piece, which the band describe it as “harder and heavier” than its predecessor.
Frontman James Dean Bradfield recently discussed how both records had been recorded at the same time, explaining: “One will be more acoustic and gentle in nature with lots of horns and a real Atlantic soul element to it. The other’s going to be way more spiky, with lots and lots of electric guitar on there.”
The Manics recently launched a video for upcoming single Anthem For A Lost Cause, released on November 25. Tour tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday.
