Rob Halford To Guest On The Simpsons

Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford will appear in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, singing a parody of classic track Breaking The Law.

The metal god lends his voice to a storyline in which Homer Simpson learns how to illegally download movies and holds screening sessions for neighbours – leading to an FBI chase drama.

Executive producer Matt Selman says: “Even though Homer is stealing he’s doing it for the community.”

Halford, whose band is nearing completion of their first album with new guitarist Richie Faulkner, recently said: “I never say no to anything. If you do, you don’t know what you’ve missed. If it doesn’t work out then at least you can say you’ve tried it; there’s nothing words than having regrets.”

Judas Priest hired Faulkner after KK Downing decided to leave the band in 2011. He recently explained he felt they’d run out of creativity – but denied reports he’d retired.
