Recent rumors of a split between Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon, have been confirmed by the couple.
In a statement released earlier this week, Ozzy apologised to his family and bandmates while revealing that he’s spent the last 18 months drinking and taking drugs, although he was now almost two month’s sober.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Sharon will not reconcile with her husband until he proves to her he’ll be sober for the long haul.
Sources connected to the couple have stated that even though Ozzy says he’s been sober for 44 days… it’s not enough for her. She’s been living with this most recent bout of drug and alcohol abuse for a year-and-a-half, and Sharon is saying 44 days doesn’t make that go away.
This Saturday, Ozzy and Black Sabbath will play Auckland, New Zealand to kick off their world tour in support of their forthcoming new album, “13.”
