New Smashing Pumpkins Album

Last Monday marks first “official” day of writing on the new record.

“Wish us luck” tweeted Billy Corgan, although details were not forthcoming on what direction the new album might take. It will be the Smashing Pumpkins’ 10th studio release, and a follow up to 2012’s “Oceania”.

The band also have plans for an upcoming tour this year. Kicking off in late April, it will cover North America and Europe.
