2013 Brit Awards Nominees Announced
The Brit Award nominees have been revealed, with Muse, Mumford And Sons, The Black Keys and The Rolling Stones among the names revealed in London.
Alt-J, who shot to fame in mid-2012 with their debut album “An Awesome Wave”, are up for Best British Group, Best British Album and British Breakthrough.
Mumford And Sons will also compete in the Best British Group category, along with Best Live Act and Best British Album for “Babel”.
Muse are up for Best British Group, and will battle against The Rolling Stones for Best Live Act.
The Black Keys and The Killers are in the running for Best International Group.
Late jazz singer Amy Winehouse also received a posthumous nomination for Best British Female.
The event will take place on February 20 in London, with Muse and Mumford And Sons among the performers on the night.
