Steve Vai – Guitar God – You Judge?

OK, so we all have our own personal tastes so we at My Guitar Lessons, thought we would share some amazing guitar video’s that we have found on You Tube. Firstly we would love to share this amazing (in fact in our opinion its far better than words can describe) video of Steve Vai playing ‘Tender Surrender’ live.

Stick with it as it shows what can be done by gradually increasing the volume control on the guitar to loose than almost acoustic tone and give the guitar total outrageous grunt. Steve not only has amazing technique but on this track he demonstrates his feel and soul on the instrument, going from an almost jazz clean sound with lots of octave chords through to some Van Valen sounding licks but with a real bluesy undertone. Also it shows his entertainment factor, often combing his hair with his right hand whilst doing some incredible exotic scales. Truly inspiring stuff and sends a shiver down our spines every time we see this video. Hope you enjoy it as much as us.
