Green Day Release Details For Their New Albums

Green Day have confirmed the full release details of their new trilogy of studio albums “¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!”.

The pop punk veterans announced late last year that they would be releasing three albums, one in September, one in November and one in January and have now revealed exactly when the albums will come out.

“¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!” will be released in three stages, with the first album “¡Uno!” coming out on September 25 in the US and September 24 in the UK.

The second LP “¡Dos!” comes out on November 13 in the US and November 12 in the UK and finally, “¡Tré!” will come out on January 15 2013 in the US and on January 14 2013 in the UK. All the albums are available to pre-order now from the band’s official website Greenday.com.

Green Day will play headline shows at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival and France’s Rock En Seine in August and a headline slot at I-Day festival in Bologna, Italy on September 2 as well as three shows in Germany in late August.

Although the band currently have no UK dates scheduled, their American Idiot musical will tour later this year. The musical will be in the UK for three months, ending up with a two-week run at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo in December.

Thanks to NME for the report.
