G’n’R Guitarist Slash To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame

My Guitar Lessons has been informed that Slash is set to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that Slash will be on hand for the event, set for Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 6901 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood Blvd.

“Slash is widely considered one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time,” said Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies, “We are proud to place his name among the stars on our fabled Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

Emcee Leron Gubler, President & CEO of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce along with guest speakers Robert Evans and Charlie Sheenwill help Slash unveil the 2,473rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of Recording.

In celebration of the star dedication, Slash will be performing at a private acoustic performance and exclusive Q&A with Slash and Myles Kennedy at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood Blvd. after the ceremony.
